This desktop design won the competition and was used as the default background for two consecutive years on over 500 computers throughout Pratt Institute. David Marcinkowski Technology Management and Professor, Pratt Institute Maritza's design won our desktop wallpaper contest in spring of 2010. Her design was selected from over 60 entries. A jury of faculty and staff picked her design in a unanimous decision - which is very rare in an art school environment where critique is the norm. Her winning design has been displayed as the default desktop wallpaper on over 500 computers in the labs and classrooms at Pratt Institute for the past two years. Maritza's design and aesthetic sensibilities are among the strongest I have seen in a student in a very long time.
